Thanksgiving is here

It's the holiday we all seem to love. The time where we reconnect with family and friends and share a good time around a table with good food. I always loved getting to see those family members that were usually too far out of the way to see often. It's also the only time I eat turkey usually.

Looking back on this year since the last Thanksgiving, I have much more to be thankful for. It's been an interesting year with a lot of ups and of course has had it's downs. I'm thankful for all the new people I met and time I spent with that special someone. I'm thankful to God for my son who will be born in February. He is a blessing to his mother and I. I'm also thankful to all my friends and family and hope everyone gets to spend time with their loved ones today and have a nice time.

Lastly I'm thankful for all the service men and women serving for our country, especially those stationed overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. Along with police officers, firefighters, coastguard, the brave men and women serving in our military our really the heroes doing their sworn duty. Some people may not support the wars, but always support our troops.
