Iran

It's hard for me to make a post about myself when horrible things are happening in Iran so I want to post about this first. It's been all over the news. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won the Iranian presidency in 2005 though there were concerns of irregularities in voting, nothing was done. Now again the same thing happens in 2009. The people will not stand for this corruption anymore. Stop the lies and fear your people. The government is suppressing information and blocking communications. Censorship of the people is not right. The Iranian people want to know where their vote is!
I've been following #IranElection on Twitter for days now, and the amount of tweets coming in each minute is mind boggling. You can see some pictures of the protests in Iran here. Also some very profound videos on Youtube here. I warn you video #9 is graphic and sad. RIP Neda. Here is a video of a mother's reaction to her 7 year old son who was beat by the Basiji in Iran:
This is sad, and this is real. I couldn't imagine if that was my little sister being beat, or even worse, if she was killed. The girl that is killed in video #9 of the other site I linked, wasn't even a protester. She was just an innocent bystander who was killed in front of her father for no reason at all. Stop the senseless beatings and killings. End the corruption!
